Your leadership journey portrayed

Visualise your personal journey (life) and determine your guiding principles

For whom?

This session is for all leaders who want to reflect on their own personal journey in life: on guiding principles, motives, setbacks, meaning and ambition. During your life, you continuously make choices that affect your course of life. Which events in your life will you remember? What was their impact? How do you see yourself today and which way do you want to go in the future? What helps you and what hinders you? Mapping out your own personal journey will give you an understanding of a number of things. What is important to you, why you do the things you do and which principles are leading in this? This can help you develop your leadership vision and approach.

Learning objectives

Visualising your own, personal leadership journey

Defining your guiding principles, values and motives

Approach

You make the five drawings after a guided visualisation. During this guided visualisation, you close your eyes and imagine your personal journey based on a series of questions. The focus is on your past, present and future and on what helps and hinders you. You will then reflect on what is important to you, why you do the things you do and what principles guide you in doing so. This can help you develop your leadership vision and approach.
